Shipping Policy
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email with your order information. Orders are handmade so we typically process and ship orders within 5-7 business days after purchase, things are a little slower than usual due to Covid but please bare with us as we try to make the necessary adjustments. While some orders are shipped the same day if placed before 2:00 pm EST. Most orders ship within 5-7 business days after processing. Preorder shipping time frames may vary based on shipping dates stated within the item's description and/or title. Please allow up to 7-10 business days to receive your pre-order package. You will receive all tracking and order updates via email. Tracking information can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours to update. Please note, Fifth Noir is not responsible for any delays in delivery caused by the postal service, unclaimed packages, or incorrect shipping addresses. The shipping address provided at the time of purchase is the address we will ship the package to.
Our warehouse does not operate on weekends or US Holidays. Orders that are placed on weekends or Holidays will be considered a next business day order (Example: If your order is placed on Sunday, it will be considered a Monday order). Our normal hours of operation are 10 am EST- 4 pm EST Monday-Friday.
Order Cut Off Time: 2 pm EST – Orders received after 2 pm Eastern Standard Time will be considered a next business day order. (Example: If an order is placed on Monday at 2:00 pm it will be considered a Tuesday order.
I received a tracking number but it hasn't shipped
Tracking may not update until your package is scanned at your local carrier. Due to COVID-19, USPS is understaffed and is experiencing an influx in shipping volumes. Please allow up to 14 business days after shipping for your package to arrive.
Shipping Fees
Shipping is free when you order $100 or more and ship within the 48 contiguous states. If you live outside the contiguous U.S., we offer affordable shipping rates via USPS and UPS. Available rates and transit times will be automatically calculated during checkout.
Domestic & USA Shipments
We currently work with one shipping courier to deliver your packages:
USPS
First Class Mail: Usually takes 3 to 5 business days
Priority Mail: Usually takes 2 to 3 business days
Priority Mail Express: Usually delivered the next business day from when the shipment label is made.
International Shipping
We currently work with one shipping courier to deliver your packages: USPS
Priority Mail International: Usually takes 6 to 10 business days. Tracking information included. (Excluding varying Customs hold time)
First-Class Package International Service: Varies by destination, approximately 10 to 15 business days. Tracking varies by destination and may not be available once the item leaves the United States.
Import duties taxes & carrier-related fees
Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties, and fees, which are applied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and can't predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. The recipient of the order will be responsible for ALL import duties or taxes charged by the recipient’s country as well as any carrier-related fees. Shipments returned to Fifth Noir for non-payment of duties and/ or taxes will be refunded for the cost of the item minus a 15% restocking fee, and the customer of record will be restricted from placing any future orders with Fifth Noir.
Fifth Noir MUST declare the full retail value of product(s) on our customs declaration form for all shipments. For replacements or exchanges, we will declare a value of $1.00 USD.
Payments
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
